Kick off the weekend with an optional 18-hole round at Burlington Country Club, a classic course designed by Donald Ross. Set against Vermont’s late-summer beauty, it’s a memorable way to ease into the weekend, no matter your skill level.

Explore the renowned Shelburne Museum, home to over 150,000 works of art and Americana across more than 25 historic buildings. Highlights include the Pizzagalli Art and Education Center and the special exhibition and lecture, “Norman Rockwell at Home in Vermont.” The visit will include a docent-led tour of the museum’s expanded collection of Americana.

Enjoy lunch at the Shelburne Museum.

2:00 PM: Return to Hotel Champlain

Attend a half-day educational program featuring faculty from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and UVM Children’s Hospital.
Breakfast will be served in the Hoehl Gallery, followed by the scientific program and PTC business meeting.
Bus Schedule:
7:45 AM: Depart Hotel Champlain for the Scientific Program at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont
12:30 PM: Depart the University of Vermont and return to Hotel Champlain

Enjoy a guided tour of Shelburne Farms, exploring the historic Webb estate designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Learn about the farm’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and education, guided by the vision of the Webb and Vanderbilt families and the broader community that continues their legacy today.
The docent-led tour will take place as we ride the bus around the grounds and view the Farm Barn, the newly renovated Coach Barn, and other sites. These remarkable structures have been thoughtfully preserved and adapted for modern use. We will disembark the bus at the Inn, the former summer residence of the Webb family for a tour of the house and gardens.
The experience concludes with tea and scones at the Inn, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty and history of this extraordinary property on the shores of Lake Champlain.

End the day with waterfront cocktails and dinner at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, a science and nature museum located along the Burlington waterfront. We will walk from Hotel Champlain to ECHO for an evening together overlooking Lake Champlain.

HIKING, BIKING, & WATER
Vermont’s natural beauty is one of the best reasons to extend your visit. Take a walk along Lake Champlain, explore the area by bike, or venture out for a hike with spectacular views.
AllTrails — Find local hikes ranging from easy walks to more challenging trails. Most destinations outside Burlington require a rental car.
Mount Philo State Park — Drive or hike to the summit for beautiful views overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.
