Meeting Highlights Itinerary

THURSDAY

September 17, 2026

  • Kick off the weekend with an optional 18-hole round at Burlington Country Club, a classic course designed by Donald Ross. Set against Vermont’s late-summer beauty, it’s a memorable way to ease into the weekend, no matter your skill level.

FRIDAY

September 18, 2026

  • Explore the renowned Shelburne Museum, home to over 150,000 works of art and Americana across more than 25 historic buildings. Highlights may include the Pizzagalli Art and Education Center and the “Norman Rockwell at Home in Vermont” exhibition, along with unique features like a working carousel and the historic steamboat “Ticonderoga”.

  • Gather for a lakeside cocktail hour with heavy hors d’oeuvres and beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.

  • After the reception, enjoy dinner at one of Burlington’s many excellent restaurants. Recommendations will be provided soon.

SATURDAY

September 19, 2026

  • Attend a half-day educational program featuring faculty from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and UVM Children’s Hospital.

  • Those not attending the scientific session will visit the Rokeby Museum, a National Historic Landmark and Underground Railroad site known for its powerful and well-preserved history.

  • Enjoy free time to explore downtown Burlington. Stroll Church Street, visit local shops, or treat yourself to Vermont favorites, like a stop at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop or a short walk to one of the local maple creemee stands.

  • End the day with a waterfront dinner at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, offering a unique setting along Lake Champlain.

SUNDAY

September 20, 2026

  • Gather at Hotel Champlain for a closing breakfast and special presentation featuring the inspiring story of Vermont Green, a nationally recognized soccer team with a mission rooted in environmental justice.
